The Porsche 911 3.2 Cabriolet perfectly embodies the classic collector sports car: authentic, timeless, and highly desirable, especially when equipped with the sought-after G50 gearbox. The example we are pleased to present today is a Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Cabriolet, first registered in July 1989 and equipped with the highly sought-after G50 manual gearbox. This car stands out with its elegant specification, combining the rare « Taubenblau » exterior color with a « Cashmere Beige » interior.

Originally delivered new to the United States, this Carrera spent most of its life in Ohio and Colorado, as documented by its Carfax report. Imported to Germany in 2008 with just over 110,000 miles (approximately 176,000 kilometers), it was immediately converted to European specifications by the renowned German Porsche specialist Turmgarage. The work included a major engine service, the installation of four Bilstein shock absorbers, and the conversion to a kilometer-calibrated speedometer.

After passing through the hands of two German owners, the car was imported to France by us in early 2021 and sold to its first French owner, who enjoyed it for nearly two years. At the end of 2022, the car returned to us for a comprehensive maintenance programme, including four new Michelin tyres, replacement of all fluids and filters, installation of a new Blaupunkt radio, and a complete gearbox rebuild. Following these works, the car was acquired by its most recent owner, who continued to enjoy and maintain it.

This Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Cabriolet is accompanied by its Matching Numbers certificate confirming the original engine, gearbox, and chassis combination, as well as its two keys and a well-documented history file. Having been sold by us to its two most recent French owners, it represents a rare opportunity to acquire a particularly well-specified and carefully maintained G50 Cabriolet, ready to deliver the unique driving experience that only an air-cooled Porsche can offer.
