When Porsche presented the 718 range a few years ago, the naturally aspirated flat-six engines were replaced by turbocharged flat-fours. Although these engines were more efficient than the previous generation, this "downsizing", removing the character of the Flat-Six, caused an outcry among the brand's loyalists. Some time later, the GT4 version of the Cayman was revealed. This high-performance variant has an atmospheric Flat-Six 4.0, a manual gearbox and firmer suspensions, enough to delight circuit enthusiasts. The GT4 thus made it possible to satisfy track aficionados but another target was not yet satisfied: those wanting a car that could be used daily and could offer performance and pleasure on the track. This is how Porsche unveiled the Cayman GTS 4.0 in 2020, which now has the same block as the GT4 version, with slightly reduced power.
The example we are offering for sale is a Cayman GTS from December 2020 with just under 18,000 km, in absolutely superb condition and Porsche Approved until December 2023. Delivered with its 2 keys, manuals and service book, this vehicle presents a nice list of options including 18 settings sports seats, interior carbon pack, heating carbon steering wheel, sport chrono pack and also has a special paint « Python Green » combined with a black Alcantara interior with red stitching, belts and rev counter. This Cayman GTS 4.0 thus presents the possibility of acquiring one of the latest thermal versions of the 718 since the electric has been announced for the next generation.
